I know that, but:
1. other back ordered item show their price there.
2. if the price you've back-ordered doesn't count, theoretically tower can change the price to anything they want right before they ship, and you'll need to pay for it.

Anyway, just funny to see my cart price suddenly dropped low, waiting for all back-ordered item to be all available to buy them all.

The real problem with back ordering at Tower is that each time one of the $7 items comes in stock they ship it with a shipping charge. Now times that by however many back ordered small ticket items you have and you end up paying much more due to shipping costs for each.

It's ridiculous. At least Amain lets you know when it's in and asks you whether or not you want to proceed and doesn't just auto ship it with a shipping charge.

It's even worse for International. I asked them and they responded that yes, they'll ship as they come into stock, which is not great.

According to this statement for my D413 and 3 spare parts that are on back order at Tower, I will only be charged shipping one time. Even if they're shipped separately as they come into stock. Or am I misunderstanding this ?

I just had about a dozen backordered parts ship out from tower, all seperate shipments, one shipping charge of 1.99.

Wow. Guess I should contact them. I was charged a month ago for shipping and again this week on a $7 backordered axle.

Thanks for that post.

SO I got my car about 90% there. I seem to have too light of shock oil in the car and the car is still just a touch too twitchy. I think I may go up to 37.5 and 32.5 and see what that does. Theres a race sunday and I wont be able to practice this weekend. Besides turning the d/r down on the remote... any ideas? I like the way the car steers just seems a bit too touchy at the moment.

I could also use a little off power low speed steering...

Same issue I'm having, but I did get it toned down some. I got TQ with it Wednesday night racing then had my positive wire pop out on me in lap 3 of the A main...lol

Still need to it down some.

You should not have been charged.

The policy on international orders is a new shipping charge as each back ordered item comes into stock. I really wanna avoid that.

Mr Deguzman,

Any way you could give us some detailed info for the center diff kit ?

#112784 - CENTER GEAR DIFFERENTIAL SET (72T)

There is no information about individual parts, and no photo reference.

I attend several different tracks in my area. Thought it would be convenient to build a few center diff assemblies with different oil weights in each one for quick tuning options. It would be nice to know what I'm buying.

Thanks in advance.

Cool, thanks. My car is still on backorder. Don't have my own manual yet. Maybe I'll download it and print one off.
