Carbon, if you really want to make a drastic change. You should try Ty's "low" bite setup. It is also from OCRC where the Reedy setup was based. I tried it but changed the diff fluids to 15K/100K/3K (f/m/r) and 1 and 2 dot for the front kickup. That setup had way too much steering as I was driving on med to med-high bite tracks. So right now I'm more towards the Reedy setup. But you may want to try the other setup as I felt it had much more steering, too much for me.

Default AE Shock caps, Aleternative

Here is a picture of the AE Caps installed. I ran them through practice on Tuesday at OCRC. Install of caps was a breeze. They look factory. What I used was the original plastic caps from the AE B5/B5M buggy. Fitment was pretty good. There was someone on here that said that they felt like the threads were stripping, but just a little. When I installed these they fit pretty good. Tight, but didn't feel like that were cross threading or anything. I used the bladders from the D413, cut to emulsion. They fit in there perfect, like they were meant to be. There is 0.50-1mm gap from the cap to the lip on the shock body. This might get dirt in there, but you could use a oring to combat that.

They held up through about 4-6 packs of long practice, with SC's gunning for me in every corner.

A good alternative, at least till the alum caps are released.

The only thing to look out for is fitment on the front. They felt a little bound up initially. If this is the case with yours, just add a .50mm shim to the back of the standoff you use and it should be perfect. Rear had no issue and completely free.

assuming those are AE standoff? also did you measure shock length/droop with stocker as well as the AE's? those caps look tall and may add some length.

RC*PHREAK, That is a good point. I did do a visual check and they look to be pretty close. I think with how much material that the AE shocks have on the eyelet of the cap they may look tall. Sorry didnt get a exact number.

When running on the track I didnt feel much of a difference in the driveability of the car. But I will keep an eye out for this and report.

And yes they are the AE stock B5M standoffs. I used a thin lock nut on the inside of the standoff to get that 0.50mm extra length i needed for the front to not bind.

Need suggestions for taking away a bit of steering. Added A few shims to the camber link, which helped. I was using a sway bar in the front as well, but didn't seem to take the twitch out.

Would your radio simply allow you to turn down the steering gain, or fps ?

Stepping up... I like that, did the same thing a few months ago, worth the dollar postage to help a bro out.

From what I understand, it's just showing what you've placed an order for but it shows nothing in the shipped column and shows 0 stock so you have not been charged as of yet. Once it's in stock you will receive an update and the charge will appear and be processed.

Yes, back ordered items are not charged until they are in stock.
