arghhh it happened to me....stripped the spur....another fellow at my track had stripped his spur...so after each run i would check mesh and that nothing was loose....i use blue loctite on all metal to metal screws, and i just dont understand how this could happen...but it did.

been googling for 30 minutes now, and everywhere is out of stock...even overseas..theres nothing to be had...arghhh....the old shumacher did well though.

so when will parts come in ? the buggy has been out for 1.5-2 months now and no parts support to speak of

this is what happens when people preorder all sorts of shit. Backorders get filled, stock stays at zero.

Really sorry to hear that. Same here. I can't find a spare spur either. I ran a 44.2 and never stripped a spur gear so I had good luck/experience with mesh settings. I did notice that if you flex the D413 in your hand front to back and side to side the mesh might change slightly. My spur was also out of round slightly and I did not over tighten the center diff screws from what I could tell. Torrance could probably weigh in if the flex from extreme crashing could cause the pinion to skip a tooth.

I've just been looking at my cart and part 112768 is the same plastic one I had in the link. I can't seem to find this carbon fiber steering arm.

This car runs wheels with 12mm hexes front and back, yes?

Would these fit?

i had hoped i could machine the broken gear and then attach something else...but due to the gear being sunk over the diff housing its impossible, had the gear sat flush with the end of the housing it would have been possible to modify say an AE/kimborough etc gear to fit (if you have a lathe)

here's pics of the diff(watch in glorious 4K for max details jump to 42 sec in

+ YouTube Video

to clarify:
my bad, it was a joke BUT hopefully a reality in a year or so! they mastered SC and 1/8 scales
if they shrink an EB48.2, I'm all over it! I asked them several times to pull the trigger on it!
