Yeah it is, especially with a new car you haven't gotten used to yet. That section makes or breaks a good lap and generally has its way with rookies and pros alike. The ideal shock setup for that section also doesn't match the rest of the track. I am hoping the 1.1/1.2 3-hole 37.5/32.5 shocks I just built will provide a good middle ground. Hope to test it this week.

My buddy Richard who designed that body has taken a lot of well deserved crap for it, that is for sure. The "fish coffin", I don't think that is a compliment.

Sounds good, I really really want to drive a wheeler with a center diff. A friend of mine has the team c car and he has fitted it with a c diff, and it makes the car so much easier to get on throttle coming out of the corners.
I really dislike the sworkz shock, my only gripe. I like the fish coffin body.lol

Same thing here, I know a place where they have it in stock, maybe I will be tempted after good reviews. I am pretty scarred of my 22-4 on our huge 1/10 outdoor track.

So just a heads up for those that are ordering another spur gear. Or maybe I could be the only one.

112784 is the complete center diff set which includes the 72T spur. the original problem mentioned something about gear shims which are 112963 but i'm not seeing that error.

Yeah Clint you do seem to like my bandwagon.

I really liked my Bmax; I think it was the sharpest handling wheeler I have had next to the D413. The problem I had with the Bmax was drivetrain reliability followed by part support. The D413 is every bit as sharp when it comes to handling while being much more durable all around. If you are liking your Bmax you will love the D413.

I don't know if there was an error on the HB side. All I know is that I had pre-ordered the spur gear based on description from Tower Hobbies (this was even before HB updated their website with parts). Suddenly when they were going to complete my order, they were going to send me the gear shims. It was a heads up for all those that probably wanted a spur gear instead of gear shims.

Somewhere, someone switched the two part numbers.

Pretty sure it was towers fault, when i placed my preorders the d413 site was up and tower was switched from hpi's site....
