Part of the issue is not everything that Ty uses is available yet. Carbon fiber plates for instance.

Anyone figure out something to use for a chassis protector yet?

True, but not for long.

The best way to learn setup is experiment, it's great to take reference from a setup sheet but the best way is to be individual.

Absolutely agree. Just don't grab part of a medium bite setup and be shocked if it doesn't work well on medium bite until you match it. That doesn't mean there isn't plenty of good setups for all grip levels. I just find it useful to match a known good setup completely and then experiment from there.

i've had requests for a pic of my electronics layout. so here it is. esc in the rear, receiver as far forward as possible just mm behind the steering belcranks to make it easier to access the center diff (see build tip #7). the receiver is absent at the moment because my D812 is borrowing it but you can see where the receiver tray is located. battery location is full forward. the main reason i chose this arrangement as opposed to the esc forward is so that i can use a short sensor wire.

Thank you Torrance!

How do you get away not running a fan on your ESC in a wheeler?

Also, how are those Velcro body mounts on the side attached and where do we get them?

LRP power: No fan, No problem!!!

Velcro mounts were made from left over trimmings from the wing (build tip#8).

Here is my Dusty setup from FL. stock setup was hard to drive for me, so I spend a day playing with setup.

I lost one of those little orange things that keep the sway bar from moving around. Where can I find a quick replacement

Drop center diff fluid to 30k or less. Add black front sway bar and remove rear sway bar. Are your springs softer or harder than stock? For our track SDRC in San Diego the kit springs were perfect.
