Check the first post - The kit comes with four sets of pistons, one set is blank, the other three are 4 hole: 1.2mm, 1.3mm, and 1.4mm. They are not tree-ed and are ready for use.

Yep, with the mounts upside down it brings the wing further down. You can also add shims to increase or decrease the angle of attack.

"it's a built in feature - you can run the mounts in a high or low wing configuration. high wing is more stable on the ground. low wing is more stable in the air during high wind conditions. it was very windy at the worlds coupled with some big jumps."
"and.... each wing mount is held by an upper screw and a lower screw. you can adjust the wing angle by adding shims to one of the screw locations. you probably can't see it in the pictures by Ty has a 0.5mm shim on the lower screw to give the wing a little more angle of attack."

edit: added info from Torrance to first post

What's the internal transmission gear ratio? Trying to figure out what size pinions I'll need to have on hand.

(for reference the D413 comes with a 72T spur and the gearbox ratio is 43/13)
Looks like it is 43/13

Damn I need to stop watching this thread, it makes me want to get a D413. It helps that Serpent or Tekno doesn't have a wheeler coming out in the near future.

I can't find it right now but my favorite video is from the worlds. Cav spins in front of TY and they collide head on snapping the front of the B44.2 then TY is backwards and Mayfield head on with Ty and snaps the front off his B44.2. Ty drives away with a bent front sway bar.

Two of AE top drivers done in 1.5 second due to front arms breaking. Classic b44.2

My Yok has been bullet proof thus far but this car has my eyes wide open. I use to run HB sedans back in the day and this might be my first HB off road. Parts were always an issue even for us sponsored driver's. What's different this time around?

The one target I didn't quite hit was the minimum weight - the rules allow as low as 1613g but the D413 with a shorty weighs in around 1720g give or take. I tried to get it as close to minimum as I can but I would've had to skimp out on some strength to achieve it. Still though most of the competition weighs in close to 1800g and still has durability issues.

Don't take this the wrong way...

but what is there to be on the fence about?

you are really that worried about spare parts?

The only down side I've seen about this buggy is the shock caps have me a bit worried...

that and parts.

WAY more "Pros" than "Cons" in my eyes.
