Default Airtronics MT-V Radio

Tried the radio section but no response. I have an MT-4 and want to know how the MT-V compares in regards to speed. If anyone has both, please let me know if they are close in speed. Thanks

Thanks guys. Since I already have an mt4, I know it is a great radio. Trying to find out just how much slower the mtv is. Think I need to hear from someone who has both to get the info I need. So far in my investigation, it sounds like the speed diff is not much and would be hard to tell the diff when driving. Want to order an mtv asap so hopefully a user who has both radios can give me their opinion regarding speed. Thanks again.

you will probably not notice the difference. Since you are looking to downgrade your radio, it would appear your not sponsored or even a fast driver. As a new driver, you will not ever notice the difference.

i have the MT-4 and my kid uses the MX-V. When we switch i could hardly tell the difference with regard to response, if at all. The additional features of the MT-4 are definitely worth the additional cost. Stormer Hobbies has the MT-4 on-sale for a decent price.

I made that downgrade. There won't be much if any perceptible difference. If there is... it's probably in your head

the only reason to use the mt4 over the mx-v is features. Telemetry and the mx-v is missing servo speed adjustments I think. If you dont care about that stuff, then go ahead and get the mx-v

in addition to the steering i like the option to stiffen both the trigger and wheel, which isn't offered on the cheaper model. i would stick with the MT-4. if you really want i'll trade you.

Thanks again everyone. Think I may pick up the mtv for my grandson since it appears speed is close to mt4. Would like to be able to adjust wheel and trigger but I can get the mtv for $80 from tower. Thanks again.

its a great radio for a kid. I was going to get my daughter one, but decided to stick with the MX3-X she had. For $80 it might be the best value on the market.

Killer Price

Haw- this is *exactly* what I was going to say.

I'll add that I was kind of surprised at the overall difference in *feel* between the two. The MX-V works fine, but it's way cheap-feeling compared to the MT-4. I don't regret the purchase, but it's a big step down from the MT-4.
