Default Best A-arm design straight or bent

I'm trying to find out what the benefit of bent front a-arms is vs straight ones.

like say hpi blitz

Your links are broken. But I'll take a shot - center of gravity.

Having bent arms just creates more room for a longer shock.

So is one better than the other? My durango sct had a great front end but horrible rear end. My blitz has a wonderful rear but the front is not as good as the durango. I was considering swaping the a arms and links. It would be wider but we do not have any width rules where i run.
Ill look for better pictures.

I don't think that one is better than the other it is more which you prefer. Bent does let you better adjust your suspension though because it doesn't make changes to the droop. When you move the shocks.
