Slash 4x4 motor and esc combo?

So I feel like I want to take a step up from the stock velineon and start racing my slash 4x4 on tracks. I have heard of many motors and esc's however I am curious as to what should I select for a dirt off road track for racing my slash 4x4?

If your new to racing 4x4 SC then keep running the stock motor/esc. I still run it and do just fine. Just drop to a 11 or 12 tooth pinion gear and have fun. More power is not always better.
