Default Brushless Sct

I am thinking about putting a brushless motor set in one of my sct's. I will either put one in a Kyosho ultima sct, or a team associated 2wd sc10. But I'm a newb with motors and esc's so I don't know what to do. Which one will be better and what combinations should I get. I prefer to order off of hobby king because they are so much cheaper.

Get at least a 60Amp ESC and something about 10.5 to 13T (3000 to 3300KV) motor to get you started also get a few LiPo's at least 4000mAh and 20 or 30C since your run times will improve head over heels over NiMH batteries.

This sounds exactly what you're after. Had a few of these ESC's and they've been very reliable. Motor should have plenty of power and still run cool as well.

If he can handle a 4000KV motor since he's a newb that's a good deal.

Comes with a program card so he can always just turn the power down anyway. Very easy to do.

That combo is $80 plus shipping. If you're spending that much, I'd go with the castle sidewinder sv3 combo's, the 4600kv one. They're water proof and actually have customer support if needed. My LHS sells them for $110.99, so not much more, and for a basher waterproof is good.
