Thanks for the clarification... if I were to buy a used XB9E... what are some common breaks that I might expect to see... and would any of those parts be compatible with the XB8E?

I'm leaning toward the XB9E just to have a less aggressive setup, that seems to suit me better for my driving preference.

There isnt much compatible.. the XB8 was a complete redesign. off the top of my head.. these parts will work

diff drive cups
diff housing and internals
complete center diff
center diff mount
lower hinge pins
side guards
drive shafts
rear chassis brace
servo mount
battery tray
motor mount
front bumper
wheel hexes/pins
wing mount
wing

things like that.. but chassis, arms, front rear diff ring and pinion are different sizes towers, shocks, all different..

Thanks Daniel... if I go with a XB8E... is the caster fully customized by tuning the front pivot balls? I wouldn't mind getting the XB8E if I can make it equally as stable to drive as the XB9E. It seems like the XB8E has more tuning options without having to buy extra parts, or am I mistaken?

Do you have a setup sheet available for your XB8E? I really liked the way it handled at 439 when you let me test drive it once a while back.

Correct. I worked setup on the xb9 for as long as I owned it to get it how I looked it... The xb8 started good.. Small tweaks and its money.

Your more than welcome to get my setup from me.. In don't have it on the website.. As I haven't changed much.. When u get it done.. Bring it by.. We will put it on the setup station. Get it all good to go.. If I get to the track early enough.. We can run some packs.. And tune it for ya.

Thanks Daniel.. much appreciated... are the stock springs and pistons good to use out of the box or do you have any recommendations there for Temple?

Cool... I was just hoping to add as many recommended upgrades as necessary to the same order when I buy the kit.

Default xb8e chassis

I can't help but notice the similarity in the chassis layouts between the xb9e and xb8e. Does anyone know if I could run the the xb8e chassis on my xb9e with little to no modification?

What part of the front in particular? The diff cases look the same but I could be wrong. To me the only thing that looks like it could be different is the location of the steering posts
