yeah those inserts kinda got me for a second too, but I think EE in gives you 3.5 degrees.

Thats where I go as well. It is either EE in or EE/DD in. if Im reading it right. Like the flexibility, but appreciate the simplicity of the older mounts. Looking at it again one more time, it might be EE in Front/DD out rear. Take another look at it.

I've heard of some people running DEX410 gear diffs in the ZX6, how easy is this to do?

Interesting someone would even bother since the K gear diffs are way better. But I guess people will try anything to save a few bucks.

I know this is a Kyosho thread, so they'll be K favoured, but looking for opinions between the zx6 and D413. I can get a really good deal on a zx6 with a truckload of spares. But not sure if I want the K car or the HB.

Does the centre diff make that big of a difference to drivability. How's the durability on the zx6? Ease of maintainence?

They run such high oils in the 413 I'm curious as to this answer too. Some setups call for 300k wt oil. That and I don't see any kits following suit. I think on track there isn't much a difference.

Having had both for me personally the ZX6 is much easier to drive faster. Coupled with ball diffs that last it's more forgiving then the all gear diff D413. Durability is not an issue with the ZX6, and parts don't go out of stock for months at a time. There are still supply issues with Hot Bodies cars.

Running such high diff oils cause the car to be extremely fast, but very unforgiving. It's been a while since I had mine but people who run it at my local track would never go that high. It's like full time 4wheel drive with a locked slipper. I could see if your running on a very open flat track with few jumps where 300k in the center would work. But most of us don't have those super smooth, super high grip tracks to run on. It would be terrible on a rutted out track setup like that.

Default What's the deal with this buggy ?

Ok, so I've driven this buggy 6-7 times. I've yet to get comfortable with it . I'm running the law 50 gear diffs 5k front 3k rear, 40w front and 30w rear shocks, gold front and rear springs. Running tekin rsx and redline gen2 7.5. My issues are the car jumping like garbage , rear end is jumping around , cornering is a joke, I'm breaking knuckles with ease, ball studs bending, rear dog bone doesn't want to stay put, and today I snapped la361 the piece with the ball stud in it. And the bumps teen is crazy even with 2mm spacer..help!
