towers, arms, hinge pins (bent two already). If its a big race get some hubs and bulkheads as well.

Rear hub and front arms...la272...
I tried diff gear ... 3k-5k ... I'm using red and white slipper ... better front or back track to medium low grip ?? Recommended to increase oil diff ??

Alright guys... So I'm trying to decide on a new wheeler. Been running the ZX5 for probably about 3 years and it's served me well, but it's time to get something newer/more competitive. I'm looking for some feedback...

For those of you who ran the ZX5 and have the ZX6 now, what do you feel the improvements were/are? Is it more durable? Better steering? If so, does it have better steering into the corner, middle, exit? I see that there are still problems with getting ride height low enough which is worrying.

So what's your honest opinion?

How low do you want to go?

I assume that is where some of the drilling extra holes in arms comes from? I have never been able to get my ZX5 down to the 19-20mm in the rear as is pretty standard with most setups, the lowest I can get it is 21.5mm.

I had the ZX5 for over a year. The ZX6 gets low. I'm running at 20mm and can go down more. Durable way beyond what I expected. I'm not a great driver and all I have had to replace is one front shock shaft (tried to stuff the car into the end of the pipe) and the front right inner hinge pin and arm landing on the pipe where it was nailed down. The steering rack is much better and the steering is improved everywhere. My setup I have more entry steering. I just killed my low profile servo. It really needs to be a full size as much as I touch the pipe. That's all I've done since I got the car in August. If you like your 5 you'll love the 6!

Ran the new car today,

Put about 9-12 runs on it for practice and some tweaking.
Love the car. For sure better than the zx5 I had, but still have a few things to rework. Car doesn't seem to like a ton of droop. Uses a lot less on the front form the zx5 I had. Seemed a bit weird but worked well. Should be good once I get it all dialed in.

One other thing,
I was looking over the setup sheets for the car and noticed that when it comes to the caster block on the front, there's two ball stud holes you can use, but the setup sheets don't specify which one is used. Looking at a few pics some guys are running the rearward ball stud hole on the caster block.

Other than that I think I found a couple setup issues I have that made the car react weird when more droop was used on the front. Something else for me to play with the next time I get out for a practice day.

Got another practice day with the new car,

After fixing a couple issues I made by mistake, car was lots better. Still have some work left but I'm very happy with the car. Cacatus could be a lot more fun with this new car. Lol.
