There doesn't seem to be a lot of discussion on this thread like the others. I'm thinking of getting thicker sway bars for the front to try and calm this buggy down. Has anyone tried that?

It irritates me that hardly any info on this zx6 is on here or any where else. The b44.3 already has more pages on here.
My rear end kept swinging out on me. So i put front swaybar on only and it calmed it right down. Also make sure your front diff it tighter than rear.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't figure anyone would. I'm gonna try that and see what happens. I can't drive the buggy hard because it constantly wants to step out on me.

There are a ton of variables that could cause this to happen. When you say your rear end is steeping out, when in the corner is it doing that? Beginning, middle, or end? I recently switched to the rb6 rear arms and I think it helped the car in some situations. Stepping out on corner exit was helped but only if you ran the inside hole. I'm thinking of trying the new arm holes we have been running on the rb6 to see how it feels. It sure worked on the 2whl.

The stepping out happens on corner exit. The car runs great in and middle but on exit I'm really slow getting back on the gas. I feel I'm running the right tires, Dirt webs.

Yep I had this problem. So for more forward traction at the rear I like to run the white spring and 1.4mm rear swaybar. This has the same roll stiffness as the kit gold spring 1.2mm sway bar but let's the rear squat better on power. The other big change is front droop. I run medium eyelet with 19.5mm shock shaft exposed. Again helping the drive off the corner.

Try front droop first, then spring/sway bar. Also check your bumpsteer this car see's a lot of wheel movement through the suspension travel. I've tried to reduce this it seems running 3-4mm spacer while not removing bumpsteer seems to reduce the range that the kit setting produced.

As for setup talk in general with this new buggy,

I'm running 25wt losi oil in the rear with 27.5mm short shock eyelet droop setting(kit arm inside hole) and 35wt losi front btw. I'm havnt settled on front spring yet I've run everything from gold to orange on 4 different tracks, I feel it will be around yellow when the rest of the setup takes shape as I've had to run gold on some tracks to get more steering but makes the car grabby on exit.

Other things I've learnt is the rear pivot width. D in, D out (kit setting) makes the car push alittle mid corner, if you change to tebo setup up of B in, F out the rear is wider, gets loose on entry mid (off power) but the car resists traction roll in high grip/bumpy conditions. Each step out = 0.75mm so the differnece between tebo setup and kit is 1.5mm width each side. I will be testing The middle setting of C in E out next race meet to find a better balance between the two extrems.

I changed the Ackerman setup to improve steering but went back to kit setting(no shims). Shimming the ball stud from the steering rack seemed to reduce steering around centre then come on stronger around full lock which I didn't like.

Also playing with roll centres and caster at present but nothing abnormal to report yet.

Does anyone know what the rear anti-squat would be with the 1mm shim front hanger and 0.5mm shim rear hanger?

Default Shock measurement ??

Hi everyone.

Is there a friendly person in here who will do me a favor and give me a precise measurement of the ZX6 shocks, with the shock shaft all the way out (if there is inside limiters please let me know so i can do the math myself),- but also with the shaft pushed to the bottom of the body - Both front and rear?
Would really appreciate

Try this chart, disregard the front end, but the rear uses the same parts.

if this acts like the rt and rb ive found that they like anti squat example;i had a .5shim under the rear of both and I removed it and it gave me more bite coming out of the corners . id be interested in hearing how this works for you guys ,as mine is coming when it gets off of back order

Every 0.7mm higher on the RF than the RR hangar gives 1 degree of anti-squat

I have owned and driven many different wheelers ,the Losi xxx4, b44.1,b44.2,shumacher k1,xray xb4,yokomo bmax IIII,Hot bodies D413 And now the kyosho zx6. I just finished the build on this car and ran it last night with brand new jconcept dirt web golds on all 4 corners with gray foam. I put tebo's surf city setup on the car with a little of my own tweaks and the car is locked in fast and easy to drive with excellent pack. I run my ball diffs to mimic the feel of say 10k front 5 k rear and with freshly mounted tires , I beat my best fast lap time by 2 tenths .love this buggy and Build quality is awesome .
