Very prototype looking.

I've seen the other version and it goes well - RudeBits DB4

B44.2 with Kyosho quality. Yeah, that will never sell . . . oh wait, when can I buy one?

Seeing as there are multiple layouts now and shorty batteries allow for multiple more, I'd say quite a few.. Even if its not shorty only but could do either or..

Yep the car looks along ways off to me. Notice the spacers under the motor mount and steering bell cranks. To me it looks like they have used as many zx5 parts as possible to try the different chassis weight layout. My view is it has zx5 suspension, gearboxes, motor mount, slipper, battery straps. Steering links look zx5 with a rb6 rack. So to me the only new bits are aluminum chassis and plastic sides, new top deck and aluminum camber link mounts, carbon towers that's it

Ok, you can layout out the battery differently, but there isn't much else?

so the XX4 geometry is the only one worth using (AE, Kyo, Xray, Tamiya, durango, and HB all use it)? what about pbs, or inboard shocks (predator/f1 style), belts or anything different.. i know if something works you stick with it but i'm getting tired of JConcepts/AE cars

Are you wanting these items just so it's different or do you want proven designs that win races? In-board shocks like the Predator? Predator is no longer around so I guess they worked well for them. Designing something to be different is futile, money and time is better served refining proven and winning designs.

Team Xtreme is still around, however, poor customer service, zero distribution, and a $700 10th scale is why it didn't become popular. I believe kinwald won a roar championship with one in the early 90s so it can win and Kev Lee in the UK always placed in the A-final with the car until he switched last year.... Previous drivers of the car always list it as a favorite.

I guess if that layout is the only one that works guys like Durango, schumacher, tamiya, losi were always wrong? I want something different because I know there is more out there than this..
