I'm yet to start building my zx6, but looking at the instructions there is no mention of this needing to be done, unlike in the zx5 instructions

I use a KO Propo RSX one10 Response in the RB6 and it's great. Would use the same servo in the ZX6 if I could as it's lighter than a regular size servo and would allow me to swap between cars if needed. But does the 4WD put a LOT more stress on the steering servo? Should I be buying a beefier servo?
I ran shorty in my 4wd car for a while, BLS551, could not notice any significant difference between that and the 451. Having a servo saver will help as well of course!

The front pills are the same as the RB6 but the rear are bigger ones marked A thru to F
I should have thought to Google the ZX5 as I got my answer with this chart

Side note I'm going to try a Spektrum S6070 servo first (only because I have one NIB already)

Well I got my kit today and nearly finished the roller. It's an awesome build so far. The quality is awesome. Here is a pic of it.

Very nice Joe, I did do some more building last night but just haven't had a chance to get the pics up.
I will do some more building tonight and hopefully get it to rolling stage.

Joe how have you found the chassis flex? I am surprised how much there is

Yeah the chassis flexes a lot more than I thought when I pulled it from the box. Once all the braces are mounted its pretty much how you think it should be.

Ok here is where I am up to with the build.

I have a lot more pics than this but didn’t want to blow the thread out with another 20 odd photos.
I will get to the body over the weekend and once the black wheels arrive I’ll do the final pictures then.

I must say this car went together well and I’ve had a blast building it and yes I have not put the sway bars on as I need to go buy another 3mm drill bit as I can’t find the one I have.

What's with the foam over all the ball studs? Ive seen it on others cars, but dont recall seeing it in a manual.

It's supposed to keep the dirt out, but after 1 run they will start to tear apart

Are the spindles and spindle carriers beefier than on the zx5 by a significant amount?
