I have given the Yokomo YZ4 front arm a go, while they are stronger in the middle of the arm, there is less material around the arm where the inner hinge pins go through and mind broke there.

Isn't Mr Kanai only designing the 1/8th stuff? Anyway I could do with stronger ZX6 parts! Breaking front arms and caster blocks is getting old.

Yuichi Kanai works for Automodel who supplies all of the Kyosho parts. Yes he is mainly designing the 1/8 scale, but I know he has pull and just because their bread and butter might be 1/8, it never hurts to improve the 1/10 stuff as well. I also talked with one of the younger drivers that just started running 1/8 (and won the masters) about beefing up the arms too. He said it was a great idea and he would also push for their development. He also showed me how to build their ball diffs. Cool guys all the way around at the Kyosho masters for sure.

my thoughts on the buggy ,Its fast its fragile by arms and c blocks and pins and towers . I don't mean just one I broke in one night 2 arms 2cblocks and one carbon rear tower . if you note the wall when u make a left at he end of the straight I hate slowing down lol and I just rubbed it .

Thanks for the info. I will try to make it up to that track one day, its only about 4 hours from my house. I have not broken anything on my car yet. I have all the JTP carbon options on my car as well, the towers are pretty tough.

Default Rb6.6 arms

When I'm changing to these arms, where do I mount the sway bar mount? Maybe this has already been discussed but I can't find it.

Rear arms I presume. Check the ZX6.6 manual http://www.kyosho.com/jpn/support/in...20ZX6.6_IM.pdf

Hey folks.. I still have not built my ZX6.6 yet and was wondering what motor I should get for it?

I'm looking for an 8.5 turn and considering the Tekin Redline Gen 3 and the REDS VX 540. Thoughts?

I haven't ran my zx6 in a while looking for a turf and carpet setup for it . Either 13.5 or Mod just somewhere to start .

we have a short carpet track with only one straight, I am running a 6.5 turn and it is a blast, in my 2wd buggies I run the 7.5 and there is a night and day difference, and with it being 4wd using the brakes is not an issue. I personally would put a 6.5 in it and not mess with an 8.5, in a 2wd buggy I might go 8.5 as the 7.5 on the straights are a bit fast at the end. Just my 2 cents...

Having a very strange problem. Just put in a new servo in to a ZX6. Went from a Spektrum 6240 to an MKS. Now the spektrum is much like the Savox where the top of the case is sort of cut down where the MKS is pretty much a box. My problem is now I have very little throw before the ball cup is hitting the top of the servo case. Anyone else have this issue and if so how did you remedy it. Short video of the problem below in the comments
Thanks in advance

Hi guys, thinking about getting one of these Zx6.6's, just a quick question, the servo can be mounted on either side by the looks of it, do you need any option parts?

Also how good are these cars? xb4 comparable?

No parts needed.
You need to trim the lugs of the servo mounting plate and turn it upside down, I used slim plain nuts and locktite to secure it as I didn't like how few threads were left.
