Anyone with a recommendation for gearing for a differential setup, 13.5 blinky, medium sized high bite clay track?

Thanks

Hey All, Forgive me if I missed this earlier on in the thread. I picked up a set of Tebo top braces and I think they may be a little short in length. To get them installed I have to push the towers together causing the chassis to bow fairly significantly. Anyone else seen this or had this issue? I have emailed Jared already as well.

Thanks in advance!

The Tebo braces only work for motor forward and the rear most position or rear motor. Only thing I can think of would be your car being setup with the forward position of rear motor

Is front motor with top deck the way to go?

Top deck is the way to go. Even on low traction surfaces it makes the car much more predictable. There is simply too much chassis flex without the top deck.

Motor forward like Tebo runs makes for very clean wiring as the ESC is on the same side. The chassis is well balanced in this configuration. The only downsides to motor forward is limited space for motor fan if needed and you can't run the center diff / slipper mounts in the optional forward position.

Running the motor in the rear gives you more options for motor fans and allows you run the center diff / slipper in the forward mounting position. However, you cannot run the JTP top deck with center diff / slipper in the forward position. You can run the following Bezerk top deck with center diff / slipper in the forward position.
ZX6 HD Stiff Topdeck Set, Bezerk RC

I got one of the first HD chassis' when they were released and mine doesn't have the holes either. Looking at current pictures on A-Main, it appears the holes were added as an after thought. Bummer.
