Just bought a new zx6 and I'm trying to figure out if these work with the gear doff outdrives or if you have to buy the other out drives? I take it these are like mip pucks? If so has anyone tried them and are they worth it?

Those are the ones for the gear diff's.

I just installed the ball diff version in my son's car but we haven't had it on the track yet.

Yes I run the VVC blades all the time. Very smooth, zero wear. Just keep an eye on the blades and replace if look worn.

Its your choice on motor location. Tuning option.
Rear motor is more 'traditional' and I think better suited to lower grip surfaces. Its more aggressive but can wheelie a bit...
Front motor is smoother and a higher bite surface option. Thats my opinion based on experience, not fact. I personally prefer front motor as its a little calmer and I didn't like how the car wanted to wheelie when I grabbed a handful of throttle .
My car is 47%/53% weight bias with Front motor.

I made a custom mount. As I put the floating servo mount had spare stock plastic servo mounts. put long screws thru a fan into the servo mounts and screwed to chassis thru existing holes:

That's what the stock ones look like so idk how those are a direct replacement? Looks like they might be for the center shafts to me.

Kenny, those are the diff outdrives that the axle dogbones fit in. The parts referenced above go on the diff's pinion gear for the center driveshafts.
