I am not sure, I asked another local driver what he was running and it 5k front and 3k rear so maybe it is just tebo, what are you running on med/med-high bite tracks.

So I only run my ZX6 on carpet which is super high grip and I was at 10k/7k with very similar setups to the Yatabe stuff. I am going to go up to 10k in the rear as I can see a benefit.

My ZX5 dirt car I am going to try 7k/5k since the 2 indoor clay tracks near me are med-high grip. My buddy who is a Serpent driver is running that in his snake. 5k/3k sounds like low-med grip but I am basing that on my 8th scale experience.

Where are people getting 1.8 or 2.0 swaybar for the zx6 ? Ran it for the first time on carpet tonight and it definitely needs some stiff swaybar to level it out in the turns. Thanks for the help

I got some 5/64 (0.078" same as 2mm) music wire from the local Hobby shop and bent some to the shape of the bars that came with the car. Then used a 3/32" drill bit to open up the aluminum sway bar link ends. Should work for you.

I did the same thing. Be careful opening up the ball ends however. Too much and your set screw won't bite anymore.

I did however order a pair of these:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCBYH&P=7

At $1.99 each why not?

Well seems that in less than 4 weeks we finally will have the option for thicker anti roll bars directly from Kyosho. My guess is that the set includes 2x 1.8mm and 2x 2.0mm bar. Might be wrong though....
Oh and they also provide the stabilizer end with the 2.1mm hole drilled. No more customizing.
Just wanted to buy some piano wire but after experiencing the pain it was to bent a 2.0mm wire for my D413 i guess i wait for Kyosho to do it machined!

Also finally there are damper stays made from carbon by Kyosho!

Let's see how long it takes for them to be available. The servo mount is still non existent and that was announced in early December with a January ship date.

Default center diff

lets hope they get that center diff out when they said they would, at first i was told February and now I am being told March. I hope this isnt a on going thing with kyosho because for me a center diff is key for my staying with the kit, if not I would just stay with my xb4.

I'm at 26-27/78 for the most part,
You could also try a 76 spur as well

Don't forget a fan for the motor though.

hey guys, i need a little help with understanding the setup on the zx6. what i am looking for is a chart that explains what the pills for the suspension do. I obviously know what they do....lol.. just need help understanding what each does for the car. I am also looking for what the spacers do for the suspension blocks. I found something on petitrc.com but that confused me even more. Thanks in advance

Don't know what to tell you then. The chart on PetitRC is what you are asking for.

http://site.petitrc.com/setup/kyosho...olderChart.pdf

There is no other way to explain it really. That chart does it. The hard part to grasp sometimes is that you can achieve a particular toe setting with multiple different combinations.

I think the main question is how does toe and pivot widths effect handling. For example, at a set toe say 3 degrees toe in, how does wide vs narrow differ?
