Default BALL STUD

Hi all,

Can someone tell me which ball stud to use when putting 4mm of shims under the outer steering ball stud. I noticed a few people have been running this lately. Also how does this change the handling? Thanks in advance.

IMO the JC body is ugly as hell.
I bought the jc body and ran it... In my opinion didn't have as much rotation in the turns as the stock body

I think you will want part number um128.

It changes the bump steer characteristics as the arm moves up and down. I haven't tested this option back to back so I can't tell you what I felt on the track when I did this.

With 10 degree caster it drops the stud on the steering arm so to get 0 bump you just raise it back up. If you run less than 4mm you will get more bump in which can make the front end do weird things.

Default New Chassis

I am converting my ZX6 to the new chassis and I was wondering where I should place the battery I currently have it set up with the motor on the driver side facing forward and the battery on the left I was thinking of moving the shorty pack forward for better balance. Where are most people running the shorty? Also anybody have a new trick on mounting the sway bar on the rb6 arm? . Lastly which hole on the RB6 arm should I mount the shocks? the inner of the three outer holes I assume ??? Any tips, tricks info is appreciated Thx!

As far as the shocks go I tend to run the middle hole the most.

So does building your car with the caster blocks wrong... damn failing eyes!

I've run everything from a 23T to 26T using Speed Passion V3 and now V4 13.5s

Ah you went back to a ZX6? I thought you were thinking of waiting for the YZ4? Any reason why you decided not to?

Its gonna be uber expensive for the competition kit, (possibly more then the ZX-6) and the ZX-6 is a proven platform where I race.
