Some people don't like having the gap between the body and chassis, but otherwise, it fits perfectly. Another option is the Leadfinger Racing body that is made specifically for the ET48.
I don't care about the gap in the body. I won't be racing that much. Does the enforcer body come with precut holes for the tank and engine?

Nevermind, I just checked the website. The engine and tank holes aren't pre-cut out.

There are a few options that we have tried in our ET48s combined with the Tekin RX8 GEN2 ESC. We prefer the Buggy motors over the Truggy motors because they are smoother on the low end because they do not produce as much torque as the longer Truggy motors, which can be a detriment. This means less wheel spin and a power band that is easier to control. We have done extensive testing with:

Tekin 1900 Buggy motor geared with a 15 tooth pinion.
Tekin 2050 Buggy motor geared with a 14 tooth pinion.
Tekin 2000 Truggy motor geared with a 15 tooth pinion.
Wow....I must be overgeared then...but it works for me. I'm running the gen2 rx8 paired with an SMC 1900kv motor on 18t...

I tried the SMC 2100kv in the truggy on 17t, and it was straight beastmode....But I like it more than the 1900kv in my buggy, so the truggy gets the 1900kv, and is still beastmode....If I can just stay smooth and not crash.

I don't think you are over geared. I calculated out final drive ratios and I still think 17t will be spot on. I'm going to start with a 15 and check temps, then go up from there.

At 18t with the smc, after a 10 minute main, I come off about 140°. Don't think you'll have much issue starting at 17t...15t...I think there would be too much wheel spin, unless it's an extremely tight technical track, then the lower gearing might be beneficial.

Thanks
I've tried 2000 truggy 1900 buggy on 4s and 1400 buggy on 6s. 1400 by far best for racing. 5000 6s overlander weighs in just over 600g I think and gives me the 22 mins I need easily (run with nitro). Needed 7800 4s for runtime and had to bear in mind when racing it would be close if I wasted power or if it was a wet muddy power munching day here in the UK. 6s much cheaper, run cooler, smoother, bit faster. Only downside can't use 6s for big events where electric rules here limit it to 4s.

I run the Tekin 2000 truggy motor with an 18 tooth pinion without excessive motor heat - typically 160 after a 12 minute run. But I'll drop to a 17 tooth when ambient temps are really warm.

Finally had a chance to test with the 1900kv buggy motor. I tried 15, 16, and 17 pinions. I settled on the 16. The 17 worked but the motor temp was a little higher than I like to see.

Curious what the temps were? Also, what brand 1900kv motor?

Tekin. At the end of a 10 minute run I was at 165deg with the 17t. With the 16t I was getting around 145 deg. That was with an ambient temperature of 72 degrees.

I wouldn't be afraid of the 165 after 10 minutes. I'd get concerned if I hit 180°. (Tekin also recommend to stay under 180°) With the SMC after a 7 minute main I'm coming off at 140ish.

Also, are you running any timing? If you are, don't/

No timing and a lot of punch control. Very low grip, fairly slow track.

What is the easiest way (or I should say how) to remove the front diff ?
Cheers.

Nope. Tekin motor and esc. I guess the correct term with the new Tekin firmware is Torque control. I usually run 60% unless I am on a high grip track then I'll go to 80% or so.
