I'd rather run Sidewinder than Blue Thunder. BT leaves a nice sticky blue gum in your engine and dyes the internals blue. I ran sidewinder in my buggy for awhile and i liked it. I still prefer odonnell over both brands.

Ya know, I'm really diggin' that new "WHITE LIGHTNING" fuel....engine runs faster, but the lack of oil content wears stuff out a little quicker!....fast fuel though!

Byron's. You hardly need after run oil with the stuff.
I've never heard one complaint about Byron's.

O'Donnell or sidewinder here. That's what seems to work best for us around our neck of the woods.

I might be wrong but I think Blue Thunder and Sidewinder are both made by the same company just bottled and sold by different names.

I have used many different kinds of fuels and have my opinions which are good and which are better but the real important thing is can you get it locally or not??

If those two are the only kinds you local hobb store has the only questions you really need to ask are 1) Are they both race blends? 2) Which color do you like better?

Personally I am using a new fuel I've found called TQ fuel I really like it the engine temps are lower than Byrons (the fuel I switched from) and the engine seems to be making more power when I look inside the engines all Ive found is an orange oily residue left behind so it's all good TQfuel.com is their website they are shipping the stuff and the best part is the price is really good
