Default Motor ? Plz help

Ok i have a motor ? A guy at my track which doesnt race in my class lol offer to trade me my castle 3800 4 pole for one of his three castle motors which r 5700 6700 9000 now should or shouldnt i plz help

All of those are good motors, just a hugh amount of power!!! Depends on what u are runnin them in will have alot to do with what one u need!!

It will be my losi xxx sct and mainly doing real light running up and down the riad but mainly oval racing

Are those motors from the 4pole 1406 series or the 2pole cms36 series?
Anyway the 3800kv is a strongest of all castle 540 size motors, the 4600 4pole would be more easily tamed in 2wd. The 2poles need to be geared lower or they heat up more.

u don't want to much power in a 2wd because control becomes an issue then:

Thanks guys the three motors r 2pole so i should gear more for accel the right

Well acceleration is needed on a track that has short burst, but if there are long straits and just mild turns and so forth then u can get higher gearing, u wanna watch your temps tho as u gear higher, don't wanna toast nuttin lol

Mainly oval racing maybe at the most 100 ft straights and aome off road racing here and then

I would keep what you have, and it will power a 4x4 if you ever want
