LRP Customer Service!

LRP Customer Service!
Sent LRP a few esc's September of 2012. As we all know they never get back to anybody. So a few weeks ago I remembered I sent them in. Gave them a shout and had a discussion about the esc's. I was getting some replaced under warranty, some checked out ok, and they needed 200.00 for 2 new flow esc's to replace 2 Sxx v1's. I was very happy and asked if they would send me my "working esc's" and in the meantime, I would talk the the wife about the 200.00 for the 2 flows. Soooo 1.5 weeks go by and no esc's at all show up. Called yesterday to see where they were and got lied to about the conversation. They twisted it around and said we did not send the working ones because we were waiting to hear back about the 200.00 for the Flows. So I called them an hour ago to give them the 200.00 for the Flows and "Customer Service" tried to say that none of them were under warranty and started talking about making me do upgrades of $109.00 for this that and the other. I told "Customer Service" to just mail all of them back to me and I will just use them for paper weights.
So here we are 8 Months later and No esc's! I will never buy another LRP product. Take what you want from my experience, but I am done. There ESC's went to crap after the Sphere Competition anyway
Long Time LRP Customer/Supporter no longer

I have two pieces of input to add to this thread.
1) I love my LRPs, and for now, is the speedo of choice for me.
2) What you have experienced, is one of the main reasons that guys go with Tekin. Great products, and flawless local customer service. Now that the RS2 is out, with reported greatly improved feel... it's looking harder and harder to find a reason to NOT run a tekin. (NOTE: I have yet to see an RS2 in action, and can't verify the improved feel).
My point is, if the Tekin's "feel" is up to par with the rest of the manufacturers, then they are a triple threat company.... and you can't go wrong.

Lol yeah I delt with that last summer with the ix8. They sent me 1 replacement new ix8 and had the same issue and then they said there was nothing wrong and sent me the first one I had back. Sitting around here now. As nervous as I am everytime I turn my buggy on bc I'm using a NOVAK impact I do respect their CUSTOMER SERVICE and know I will get treated right and that's why I buy Novak.

LRP customer service has always been horrible. The esc's were good enough that it was worth it. Now that the speed controls have all these issues and dont have the feel of the originals anyway. Time to move on to another brand. The guy at "Customer Service" talks down to me like im a Moron. I have been racing RC since 1988.

I feel right after the sxx v2 came out, they just were not the same. I still have some very functional pre sxx esc's that are still bad ass. But to pay a premium over every other esc out not for this kinda deal takes em off the table for me.

Those looking for high quality with great cs look into hobbywing or speed passion. They have great prices and are crazy smooth but yet still powerful.

@ the OP, that sucks!
I have 2 sxxV2 comps that still work fine but are not used much as I like my Orions better.
Based on comments from friends, who are much better drives than I am, and driving their cars. I honestly think that the SP Reventon Pro is the best esc on the market for the money.

Never had a problem with LRP cs... Long before I was even on the team they went above and beyond for me.
$109 upgrade fee is for the the Flows, it's 100 for the upgrade and $9 to ship.

Grateful to Lrp & Ae for the opportunity for a free upgrade.
Gave me 2 good ESC back and it cost me nothing.
