Hi Fuzz, I just finished with the build and raced it for the first time. I like the way the truck feels on the track, but I notice that the truck spur gear is a little loud no really sure why and how to fix that. I tried to run Stock 17.5 with it but really couldn't find that sweet spot for the gearing with the spur being 85. is there any other spurs that would work on this truck? I can say this much, if I can get the gearing correct it's going to be a pretty good truck to beat!! I notice in your pic's that you have alum rear block's, which ones are you running and is you RF block alum too?

rear hubs might be these ones. they'll fit the TS4 and the TM2SC. part number is TU0422.

Rear arm mount is TU0418

Thanks Mark, is there a list of cross parts for this truck and other Team C Kits? Need to drop spur size down. Also it makes a weird noise at the spur and pinion. I changed motors to make sure that it wasn't the rotor being bent, but still a little noisy than I want it. I really like this truck's layout!!

here's how my most recent race with my TM2SC went. I'm the black and gold one.

try a new pinion gear. I run a RW Racing Spur gear on mine cuz I was having the same issue. contact them and see what they have to offer. I believe you can get them in smaller sizes and use AE slipper pads. how is your diff shimmed? i just have the 2 shims on the ring gear side.

as far as cross referencing parts goes, the easiest way to think about it is this:
anything on the front end will come from the TS2 and anything on the rear end would come from the TS4.

Where is RW racing, I want to order new spur gear. The gear box top was milled and the gear was rubbing on the top part of the gear box. If you have a spare gear box look in the top and see where the cut slot is at, mine was the opposite side, so I had to dremel it on the correct side so my diff wouldn't be in backwards.

the ring gear of the diff is supposed to be on left side of the vehicle when looking at the back of it. is that how you have it?

http://www.rwracing.co.uk
I had to email them and order direct to get them.

yeah the factory spur/pinnion will always be noisy to a degree due , the best mesh (Quietest)with the factory spur has been Yeah Racing pinnions in my truck
at least most people know when your coming to overtake them

As mark said the shimming of the diff is important for noise and more so durability.

running mine on a indoor hard packed clay and its very fast, TU0431 +1 rear hub is great for lower grip, probably not needed for carpet, I have the TU0418 however its not really a necessity

no, other way. when the rear end of the truck is facing you, the gear should be on the left.

Yes. But my top of the diff box slot is on the right side, so i had to dremel out the left side of the gear box so it wouldn't rub on the top.

So I'm online looking for parts for upgrading the rear hubs, rear arm mounts and etc. I notice that no one will answer their phone at Evo hobbies or rchobbies for life, does anyone know a online shop that has these part's?
