Only weakness I had heard about was the servo horn, so would be interested to hear what people are running?

What I am finding with the servo horn is that the ball stud is backing out. The rear motor guard hangs down a slight bit below the xhassis and can catch the ground. I just shaved a little bit off with an exacto and haven't had a problem.
There are only a couple in the country right now so there won't be much feed back until they start to get out there but I will get a set up and some pics up rhis weekend.

I just received some pictures of a body that I am having done. It isn't finished yet as it still needs to be painted.
These are very thin (light) vinyl that is printed and then installed on the INSIDE of the body and then painted over. Very cool technology that allows them to print just about anything you want on the vinyl without the weight and old school look of wraps in the past.
The company that is doing them is Krawler Koncepts and they now have the template for the S1 V2 body.

Picasa is making them look grainy, but you can see the metallic flake.

For anyone who has access to or races on Astro surface, this car is amazing on that surface as well.. I have been running my S1 over the past month with great success.
I am frequently in the top 5 out of normally 20-30 racers.
I love this buggy!!

nice pics. Considering how much less labor is needed from what i have heard about running on carpet / astroturf, wouldn't mind seeing it done more in the USA.

only real maintenance needed with astro/carpet are on the diffs..ball diffs wear quickly due to the much higher traction.. have not tried the gear diff yet, will be soon though..

only breakage I have had so far was a rear carbon shock tower... I flipped over on my roof and got hammered by a Kyosho from behind... not the buggies fault
car is built like a brick *&%t house!! after roughly 6 or 7 race days including practice there is not even a sign of excessive slop in the suspension components..
