Default kyosho mp9 tki3 e vs tekno eb48

Any opinions on which buggy is best as far as handling on indoor smooth clay and outdoor rough track. Thanks in advance. Also don't care about price. Just handling and quality.

I've had the eb48 and tki2 tekno conversion. Tekno is good but nothing I have driven is as good as the Kyosho. I kick myself for selling it. Awesome buggy and if price is not a concern you can't get any better IMO.

Only second hand experience here. Kyosho (nitro version) out of the box has been amazing. Friend just sets it down and the thing handles amazing.

On the other hand, the Tekno is just showing it's face out here, and people are blown away by it, and those driving it are in love with it. Those people are usually coming from Mugen or Losi though.

My impression is they are both really good (as are many others) but it depends upon your driving style and how much setup is required to make it match your driving style.

Yes the tekno is very good, but new and setups are still being worked out. Stock setup I didn't like. Kyosho with light blue springs is dialed. I really liked both but after owning ae, losi, hot bodies and both of these the kyosho stood out. Only issue I had was breaking rear hubs if you clip a pipe but aluminum hubs takes care of it.

I'd still take an mp9e tki4 every day of the week over a tekno.

If you want something that just drives awesome out of the box: Kyosho.

If you want to fiddle with setup a lot and basically buy no spare parts: Tekno

The Tekno is like a tank. You will need to carry a bunch of front arms for the Kyosho unless you are a great driver already
