Anyone else having problems with the plastic shock ends pulling out? It happened twice to me. Is there a stronger part that I can order?

I meant I've changed that many diffs not kits to be clear lol
But I used that blue gasket stuff and that fixed the problem so thanks again to you guys who suggested it!

Yep sure have..i have pulled 2 on my e buggy and half a dozen on my nitro. .others i know have had issues aswell.even on the lightest of crashes.droop set correctly and shock ends installed correctly. .i have given up and CA glued mine on ..probably not ideal but they haven't come off again. I thought i had read somewhere that mugen ends work better?

The front screws on the bottom kept coming loose on both my DESC10 and Losi 8 E. So I got some 4 x 16 mm screws from AMain, part # PTK-H-2306. Needless to say it is not going to easily come loose again. The original screws are 1/2 long, and these are 5/8 inch long. They snugged up nicely.

Hey gang, I just picked up a 8ight E 3.0 and wanted to know what type or maintenance do you do and when?

I am new to RC and this ride, so any and all help is appreciated.

Edit: I race on an outdoor clay track

Use Loctite on everything. I am getting all new electronics for mine, and will finally be running 4s. I was running 3s but it got too warm, it was very fast though. Can't wait to try 4s.

Starting my battery mod. What a pain it is trying to find a 5-40 tap! I had to order it off ebay to get one. I drove all over town trying to find one, forget that.

I finished the battery mod. I modified one of the screws into a tap with a Dremel cutting wheel. I was able to use the last four screw holes to mount it. I had to drill three holes, and used one existing hole. It is very sturdy and I am not afraid of the battery coming loose at all. I thought it would be harder, but everything went smoothly. I was able to use the existing center outboard hole. My RX8 Gen2 esc will be here this week and I should be able to finish it. I am using a T8 1900 motor and need help with the proper pinion for it. I put a 16 on it for now, but just guessing. I am using the 45 tooth steel spur gear.

I did the battery mod. after breaking a bunch of battery trays, I gave up and put it back. I put 30 grams beside the esc and push the battery forward as far as it will go. Not quite the same but close.

I just drilled and tapped a bigger hole.
