I just bought an 8ight 3.0 roller and it had the 'sticky' ball cups.

It is amazing how well using a pair of channel locks and pinching them works!

They just freed up, the difference was amazing. I drove the buggy before and it was okay...but after, it was so nimble and light on its feet.

Night and Day!

Gotta imagine that those ball cups is why that buggy was on the roller market.

I remember reading about it on the B5M thread but did not connect the dots until Tims' It doesn't matter what brand car it is

Thanks for the great tip.

No you squeeze the plastic while it is on the ball.

I just use my pliers and squeeze the plastic around the ball. Really only one way to do this as the shank of the ball cup gets in the way. You are not really trying to crush the ball here but you need to use a good squeeze. My recommendation is to start med firm and increase pressure until you feel the ball free up a little and you should be good there.

Anyone have any setup suggestions for grass track?
We have opening in Estonia with track out on grass with jumps made from wooden trampolines, and I did found grass setup for 22-4, but not for 3.0E.
