About how long of motor wire do I need to reach a tekin t8 motor? I have about 265mm on my esc right now and was wondering if I have to get some longer wire, As I have not gotten the car yet to check. Thanks!

265 should be plenty

I've set my 8ight-e 3.0 up as per manual
I put 5000wt oil in the Front/Centre/Rear diffs but when i'm flat out my front wheels start to balloon a lot,
seems like my front wheels are spinning a lot more then the rear.
Feels like 70%front and 30%rear
So put 7000wt in the centre and it didn't make much of a difference still feels like its 65%front and 35%rear
What weight oil should put in the front to try and get it closer to 50%rear/50%front

Nothing will prevent the tires from ballooning unless you use 50-100K oil which then renders the center diff moot. Im going to guess by the ESC and Motor combo, that your not racing this thing are you ? Why do you want it 50/50 ?

Hello all. I want to get a 8ight-e RTR setup. Is the RTR also based on the 3.0 platform -meaning will I be able to use 3.0 upgrades on the RTR parts interchangeable? I was also wondering if you guys recommend this RTR. I will mainly be bashing with this and maybe occasional track practice once a month if anything -mostly bash though in my backyard or in the street. Is this RTR durable? I was also looking into the Kyosho MP9e RTR. How does this compare that?

Thanks guys for the help! Any advice would be appreciated

If u r running whats in your sig (2200kv w/19t on 4s/6s) I would assume u r not racing and just mainly bashing. I would try 10k f/r and 20 k center to keep everything locked down. U r putting down a lot of power running that motor/gearing/voltage...

I am just "mainly bashing" and the occasional speed run,
It is heaps of power and have trouble keeping tires from ripping straight off the rims
(Grp's are the only tire/rim that can handle the full power and any brand rubber/form tire just get ripped off the rim)

What would you recommend for the rear diff???

The Losi 8ight-E 3.0 is the best rc Ive ever driven hands down

How are your temps with that 19t pinion on 6s??
...Thats some ridiculous power right there.

I have the mm2/2650 in there with a 17t and on 4s its ridiculous....

im curious to know about what weight diff oils are recommended as well....

im just waiting for this snow to go away (which is probably gonna be a while) to ride the thing. Only have taken it it out twice....
I agree ...the buggy is simply awesome.

My set up I'm running the Futaba 4pls with Telemetry for Temperature on the motor so I can keep a close eye on rising temps

I'm also running a Yeah Racing Tornado Cooling Fan it has Ultra High Speed, zip tired to the motor and helps so much with temps

My everyday setup is 19t pinion and 43t spur SPC Battery Pack 6500mAh 65C 4S and my temps don't go over 66*c

My speed run setup is 21t pinion (23t pinion done only 3 passes ever with this pinion) 43t spur and temps were about 83*c after 6-10 passes and with the 23t spur it got to 84*c after 2-3 passes so I stopped didn't want to push my luck using a 2x SPC LiPo Battery Packs 6500mAh 65C 3S 11.1V

Straight out of the kit they have 5000wt oil F/C/R diffs thats a good start atm I have 5000wt oil in F/R and the centre diff I 7000wt oil but it still balloons the front wheels way to much and trying to work out what oils I need in all (F/C/R) diffs

If you are bashing put 100k or 1 Million K. Don't need a diff to break loose in a straight line.
