Just a heads up everyone that I do have skids for both the 8Be and 8Te.

http://www.sumo-racing.com/Losi_8-8T_2_Skid_Plates.html

I also have spacers for the center diff on the truggy so you can run larger spurs w/o hitting the chassis.

Let me know if you have any question by PM'ing me here. Thanks, Terry

Awesome Skids guys, Cant recommend enough If u want a skid or bump plate that will LAST the test of time. I've ran A "thin" Stainless Version on my 8E Matrix Carbon Chassis for over 3-4 years Now. Front Kick still Looks Brand New under the skid.

Another solution: get Traxxas or Dubro rod ends that take 3MM screws and use that on one end of the steering link to the servo saver..
Thanks ta-man. It turns out that a slighty wider pivot ball from a spare SCTE 2.0 torque rod/chassis brace (TLR231010) I had slips directly into the same steering link rod end. It now allows a 3mm bolt to pass through the new pivot ball, but it does require a slightly longer bolt than the original 1/2" length due to the thickness of the protek servo horn (PTK-7802).

Just a question concerning the skidplates.

Are the stainless steel ones more durabale than the alu ones?

Are the stainless steel ones thinner or thicker than the alu ones. The web page indicates two sizes of thickness.

Thanks!

You already have one listed in your signature, all I have is one monster truck, I have been wanting a buggy for a couple months but can't afford one. I could afford to have one shipped to me but that is about it.

Contact HH customer service, they have some extra shafts and they can send you one of the correct length shafts.
