I just used some parma tape on my e-buggy build and it seems to be very secure.
Its not that difficult, it just takes some patience and a lil prying, comes right off for me. It also helps if you warm it up a bit with a blowdryer first though.

I've wound up using a light base of Shoo-goo onto which I'll place one side of the Velcro-brand strips that I purchased from Home Depot. I haven't needed to put any Shoo-goo underneath the Velcro on the ESC. This has worked well on both my SC10 4x4 and Losi SCTE.

I used to use shoe goo and silicon caulk back in the day before we had reliable double sided tape...also did the shoe goo / velcro trick too

Now that 3M double sided tape is up to the task, I find if much easier to use than adhesives. That dual lock stuff looks like it would work pretty well too.

x10000

Iv been doing this a LOOONNNG time, and i'v tried them all. Nothing is stronger AND comes off cleaner, than the grey with red backing tape from 3M. I got a huge roll from home depot for cheap.. will last you forever.

Used it last year on e buggy and e truggy. Great stuff, but after a weekend the stickyness of the glue was gone. A little bit of dirt and it was loose.

I've been using the parma clear tape for a few years now. its great, and has never failed me. smooth, clean flat surfaces work best with it. dont rough it up.

I've recently discovered 3m extra-heavy duty (darker grey) as I found that the grey stuff wouldn't stick to an XXX-SC chassis. Back in the day (late 80's), the Parma stuff was excellent. It held my 2wd buggy's steering servo in place on a slab graphite chassis for 3 years. I bet it's still stuck on there.

Thats strange I used it on my ebuggy for about a year and I had to remove the rx and I recond it would have near stuck again good without a new piece.

Thanks all for your input. I went with parma and so far so good. Looks like my problem is solved.
