Sorry for making a new thread but i have been looking and no one else has this problem. Here is the problem i had a deffective esc and sent it to traxxas. I got a brand new one back. I put the new esc in the slash and put in a charged battery. I brought it outside and drove it for about 15 seconds before it went half throttle than stopped dead. I unplugged the battery and put it back in it than ran and died again. It kept this up before i got fed up and brought it in. Also when i pulled the trigger back the esc would blink red. I have tried reseting the transmitter and changing the mode but nothing is working. I am not sure please help.
Also it is a velenion system on a 2wd slash with the 2.4 ghz system.

If you're using a nimh, then it it in lipo cutoff mode. Manual shows how to change it.
