Default pinion size on 2650kv

I have a jammin x1cr converted to brushless and a hyper 9e both running 2650kv, one is running CC the other a trackstar. What size or range of pinions should I be trying out? I couldn't locate gear or final drive ratios for those vehicles to use the calculators online. These are for bashing and running on a homemade (nicely done though) track. Thanks

What size spur? On a TLR I would recommend 12/45, that is what I ran about 3 years ago in some testing stages, not sure about the Jammin ratios.. Make sure you have really good batteries, those 2650's will eat them.

In my Mugen SCT, on 3 cell, I run the Trackstar 2650 with 15/44 and the thing rips. Uses about 3700 mah to run 10 minutes, including warm up laps, with the EPA at 85%.

I'll be running on 4s. I can probably borrow a 3s for testing but would I got a taller pinion on 4s?

I had an RC8e with 2650kv a few years ago, and 13t pinion was best.
But make sure you have high C on your batteries...
