Wild cherry, no way man, Losi never wins races.....WELL, ok one or two here or there, But when they do it's only because of the drivers they buy....A/E wins because of thier clearly superior 1977 GT and other vehicles, Tebo and Cavaleri obviously have no talent.....LOL.

In truck, was Pavidas running a GT or a new Kyosho prototype? Or a hopped up Ultima?

Sorry I disapeared guys... I got busy trying to get my car to work on Saturday and on Sunday, I was the flag man.... The race went awesome.... I don't have the total results handy right now but you can find them at the GEARS website... Not sure on the www though....

As far as the GT... The GT had extended front axles to make it wider... Other than that it was the same old GT that you are accustomed to seeing.... With the exception of the quick change axles that Tebo had on his truck... BTW, those were custom made by Bruce Tebo.... But I heard that Associated had some in the works....

Other than that, the event was pretty much flawless.... The GEARS club did an awesome job! My hat is off to them!! This was easily one of the best nationals that I have been to in a while!!

Congrats goes to Tebo, Cavalieri and Halsey for their National Championship wins!!

Was Jared Tebo GT T4 hybrid or a regular GT with the quick change wheels..?

Can't find any picture neo-buggy?

The only difference on the truck was that the front axles were extended to make it wider (Similarly to the way the Losi's are with the spacer in between the wheel and the spindle) and it had quick change hubs on the back, other than that, it was the same ol' GT from what I saw.

I watched Bruce Tebo change the tires midway through the main, took him about 10-12 secs to do so.... He also did the pitting by himself and almost as fast as the guy's that had 2 guy's pitting... if not just as fast...

Man those kids are fast...........I wonder if I spent more time at the track and less posting on a web board if it would help me too? LOL.............

But, Seriously, Congratulations to all the winners! Tebo and Cavalieri have been winning races for a while now. I was talking to someone about Cavalieri TQing every class and winning 3 of 4 at this years Losi race and how fast he is, very impressive. But then the racer I was talking with pointed out he TQed every class he ran and won 3 of 4 at last years losi race too! WOW!.........Kid is awesome.............Jim

Pavidas was running a xxx-nt, and when I asked him if kyosho was going to make a gas truck he said they were not, due to the decreasing interest in 1/10th scale gas truck.

He did say a 1/8 stadium truck was in the works though.

I wonder why that is, the decreasing interest in gas truck?

1/8th style tracks with 40-50 foot jumps? Mogul sections with 30 feet of moguls? Gas truck Harder to drive? More fragile?

The last Kyosho gas truck was a GT with kyosho shocks, almost, kind of like the XXX-NT mugen makes....almost.

Maybe another brand would spark more interest, especially something a little more unique?

How many entries were in gas truck at the nats?...........Jim

Default NATS

From what I understand, the nationals will have sepaerate events for 1/10 and 1/8 next year
I'm sure in that case they will fill up the program for gas truck

Ya, probably true, I even had a Revo for a month or so. Once it became required to spend $400 more on it to remain competitive it went on E bay......It was a fun truck though, but a $1200 monster truck isn't my cup of tea.

There are still plenty of gas trucks around here, with almost 40 at our last one day state series race(90+ 1/8th though)............., Jim
