4pl what do you think
I am not familiar with that motor, so I can't really help you there.
That seams like a awful lot of battery (kind of heavy).

My current limiter is set at no limit.

Ok thanks i run a RC8Tce not the Eight -t 2.0 . 160 degress on a hot day in a 30 min main is not terrible. What would a 6200mah or higher get you on that motor ? Now i know theres many factors to that though.

When I drive in a main like that I don't push very hard. I try to be as smooth as posible coming out of the corners and really hold my line. I only use enough throttle to clear the jumps and really try to focus on smooth consistant laps. I originally started with a 2250kv motor ( I think) and have been going down in kv because I was wasting too much power spinning the wheels. With a 1700kv I don't have to use the current limiter and my throttle epa is at 100. It has plenty of top end and is smooth on the bottom, but still will blow away any nitro coming out of the corners. 1900kv was pretty good but 1700 is better imo.

Yea im going to take a look at that 1700kv . I run a Castle Monster Mamba 2200kv and even with the punch at 70% and gear to a 52/15 theres wheelspin .

I tend to drive a little hard into the main with the Nitro Truggys .

Excellent choice. I totally love mine. I run the Tekno conversion in mine.

8igth-Te 2.0 Tekno V4 conversion
Speed Passion Silver Arrow ESC
Tekin T8 2000kv

I run on a large outdoor track, so I'm geared at 17/46 on 4S lipos. It's very fast. I would not go higher than 2000kv if you plan on racing. Your run time will suffer.

If your stock chassis is in good shape I would use the losi conversion. But if your stock chassis is worn I would pay the little bit extra for the tekno conversion that includes their chassis. I've used both setups and there is no gigantic difference in handling. All tekno products are top notch for sure.

For motor and esc I prefer a 4s and 1900-2250kv setup.
