Is the spare tire easily removable? It looks silly on there.

It's 294mm wheelbase which makes it slightly longer than a 1/10 buggy but shorter than an SC truck. 1.9 wheel size.

I got to mess with one yesterday. They are smaller than what I expected. Guess I was expecting something closer to Wraith sized.

I agree.
Just wish it wasn't RTR.

Any more info on this RC such as problems or upgrades needed?

I have one on order from my LHS.

Can other batteries fit or is it sized for only the battery included?

Can other wheels fit too (hex size)?

You can fit a 'shorty' pack in there like the Dynamite 4000mAh lipo (DYN5306EC). Other battery manufacturers also sell shorty lipos. Lots more run time and a bit more punch than the lipo included with the RTR.

Pretty much any 1.9 size wheel will fit. They use a standard 12mm hex. Vanquish has some nice options. Just depends on what you're going for. Check your LHS or scaler friendly online store. If you can find them, the Losi aluminum hexes for the Comp Crawler will fit (LOSA3186) if you're looking to put more power through your rig.

Hope that helps.

Hey guys,

Just got myself a TH and I must say its a pretty cool machine. I'm planning on modding it further to enhance its crawling abilities. Has anyone got any advice on this? My idea is to lock the front diff, get some better crawling tires (axial rubber) and some softer front springs with low pre load. Anything else I should do? Maybe a higher turn motor? Extra weight on the front? any ideas are welcome.

Is $329 currently a good price?
