Yes, clean car = fast car. If its an electric, it doesn't take much cleaning if you dont get it wet. If you run slicks, clean, sticky slicks are much sticker then dirty ones.

For weekly cleanings I use a air compressor, denatured alcohol, and simple green.

Then once in a while I will remove the electronics and motor and spray it with simple green, then hose it off. I then use a heat gun and the air compressor to make sure all the water is gone. I then spray the moving parts with wd-40.

Best advice period. Forget the biggest and best stuff. This one of the fundementals of racing. I clean mine once a week. Shock rebuilds once every 2 weeks. Diff rebuilds about once a month. Spray out bearings and polish hinge pins as much as possible. Simple green

I use denatured alcohol, but the cost ends up roughly being $3.00-$5.00 each spray down.

Denatured alchohol is the best. $5 at home depot for a half gallon. It wont affect your servos becuase it is an evaporating cleaner. I use that along with my air compressor while the engine is out.

If you are using a whole half gallon that is way too much, or you are being over charged.
