Bumps as in rough surface, or jumps as in big air? If its big air, then you need to increase suspension stiffness... but you can get back some traction by lightening diff oils (to transfer power and avoid spinning tires...), more droop and lighter Anti-Roll-Bars.

If the jumps aren't huge but track is rough, then you're looking at lighter suspension...

Out of curiosity, how loose/ loamy is the surface and what tires have you found hook up best in those conditions?

Are those the new 12mm shocks on Phends truck? I can't tell. The adjustment collars are silver, the 22 conversion shocks come with a black collar, not that that means he isn't running the new shocks.

Also, can someone tell me exactly how much less a "22 conversion" shock weighs than a stock shock?

yeah he hasn't installed the 22 shocks nor the dogbones yet.

I performed the steering bellcrank mod on my SCTE 1.0 and flipped the upper actuator arm 180°. Now there's no chance of any contact with the steering drag bar, I seem to have a freer range of travel lock to lock now. Nice thing is you don't have to reverse the servo direction, it stays the same. I WILL say that I had to trim a good amount of the opposite side's servo tray corner. The upper steering arm will now make contact the upper corner of the tray. There is already a trimmed corner on the stock inner corner. So you basically have to replicate that same relief area on the opposite side for proper clearance and travel. And if you are running stock receiver box lid, the steering rod will now make contact on the lid. I had to add 5mm worth of spacers along with a longer screw to clear the lid. Good news is that now the steering rod is finally parallel to the bellcrank arm now. I know the 2.0 truck doesn't use the same servo/receiver box as the 1.0 truck, so all the trimming and shimming may not be necessary.

22 servo arm helps with this.

Are you referring to the plastic servo horn from 22 kits? I think they have a slight bend to them. Does it eliminate the need for the 5mm worth of shims for the receiver box clearance? Keep in mind, in my case, I'm using an SCTE 1.0. The clearance issue maybe non existent on a 2.0 truck with no actual receiver box. I've only tested the truck on the street so far after I did the mod. Haven't run on a track yet, but so far the steering felt improved.

What's the consensus on the MIP Bypass1 KIT for the shocks as a much cheaper alternative to the 22 shock conversion for improving SCTE suspension performance. Haven't heard it mentioned in ages...

TLR kit saves weight, lowers CG and opens the door to all the optional 12mm "big bore" spring options. The MIP bypass is some optional springs and pistons. Now MIP also makes these for the 22 style shocks if you want to use those for tuning but the 22 shock setup for the SCTE is a much different change. Still a 12mm bore shock but lighter and smoother.

I don't remember the exact number but it is higher weight which is always a benefit.

I recently picked up a SCTE 2.0 kit from a friend and I am having issues with the Proline Flotek body #3355-00 I bought. The front of the body overhangs the front bumper by almost an inch due to how I mounted it. I had to mount it this way because the rear posts would not be in any useable spot if I moved the body back. Proline claims it fits the 2.0 but even the way I have it, none of the factory marks lined up and i had to ream a small hole in the "tube" area of the body so the clip could go through.

Does the RPM bumper for the 2.0 stick out farther so it could perhaps clear the body compared to the stock bumper? I had an RPM bumper on my Slash 4x4 and it was quite a bit longer than the stock one which is why I'm asking. I feel like the body wont last long at all if the front is completely exposed.
