Im doing hole to hole, bottom turned in tight and I can't get below 102mm. Front is fine.

What purpose is the .5 rear hex?

Thanks
This is the latest std setup

The sugar setup is for sugar tracks or VERY high bite clay.

Use the droop screws in the rear arms to shorten the shocks.

Wider rear end is more stable.

Default battery

I have a question, I am having issues with my truck, my battery only last about 5-6 min, I replaced the system for a hobbywing and still doing the same.

nothing binding, the batt is a 5000mah 35c. new, tried different batts and still doing the same.

any ideas? I run 14t and stock spur. I remember when the truck was new I was getting 8-9 min at least, now I can't even finish the mains.

Please advise.

thanks.

Check the low voltage cutoff on the ESC. How many mah are you putting back into the battery when you charge it?

voltage cut off is set to 3.4v and when I checked the batt right after the car stopped I had 3.83v .

love the truck but I am getting frustrated...should I get a bigger MAH batt like a 6500?

You had 3.83V for the whole battery or per cell?

Are the cells balanced?

I have always run higher MAH batteries in my SCTE. I currently am running Venom 7200mah 100C batteries.

The low C rating of your batteries I think might be part of the issue as the high amp draw may be dropping cell voltage under low and causing cutoff.

After a typical 5 min race and warm up I draw about 3300-3500 mah out of the batter so mah should not be your problem but again low C rating may be depressing the voltage too much in your current battery.

Sorry, yes 3.8v per cell, I always balance my batt so I guess I will try a bigger batt...I saw a 7500mah 90c.

How much running time do you get with those venoms?

3.4V is high, and the battery will always read lower when under load. For example, you pack probably did get down to 3.4V, but sitting without load for even a minute would allow the voltage to creep back up to the 3.83V range.

Don't know never ran long enough to dump one! LOL

I could go 10+ no problem. Probably closer to the 12-15 range.

LOL, I hear you, well thanks for your help. I will report later once I get my hands on a bigger batt.

I run 6500's at 70C and never had an issue and I think my gear is within 1 tooth of what you said you had.

I would also check the rear pinion bearings by removing them and feeling them as well as check the bearings in your motor.

I replaced all the bearings 1 month ago so I am sure they are all good, however I will double check.

Thanks!

The rear pinon bearings can last months or they can go out in days. This is one of the harder areas of this truck on bearings.
