Mine is in the region of 2880g (about 6.35lb) RTR, depending on battery.

Hi A.J.
Here is a setup that we used on an astro turf track and carpet races (Swiss Championship rd3 and EOS Wels). It should be a good point to start as we had a 1st and 3rd place in the championship and my friend did a 4th place at EOS Wels.

You will most probably also need the 1/8 scale sway bars and surely harder springs (LOSB2959 and LOSB2963) for medium-high bite astro.

Cheers

Thank you, guy at the LHS let me weigh his scte today and it was about 6.5lbs rtr. Do you think 6.5 is a good average weight?

Yes, with a 550 motor. With a 540 4pole that would be on the heavy side, though that can be an advantage if the track is rough or the wind is strong.

Heres my rebuilt 2.0. w/ BCE H1 Hybrid (I drilled and counter sunk holes to install the 2.0 servo mount)

Lots of mods. I have 1 race on it, very light and nimble on the track. Handles much better than my previous 1.0.

What battery would you chose out of these 3??

SMC 72000mah 70c

Gens Ace 6500mah 50c

Intellect 7600mah 90c

The choice of 6000mah+ packs is pretty limited in the UK

if you can get Venom packs, they have a new 7200mah 100c pack for a very good price and the thing is amazing fast.

Completely off topic, I apologize. But let me tell you how much fun it was to race with FRANK ROOT!! It was a blast and this guy is wicked fast. When my local fast guys throw down their SC's I have no problem beating them but FRANK handed me my butt in a knick knack basket lol. He definately knows a ton about the setup of these trucks and the 22 series vehicles. I had a blast Frank and I hope you did as well. 3rd place isnt to bad at the SC SHOWDOWN. I hope to race with you again.

I hear good things about the venom batteries.
I have the smc 6000 80c, 6500 70c and 7200 70c. The 7200 is the weakest of the bunch by far. I prefer the 6000 80c but the 6500 70c is a close 2nd.
