Default Ride Height

Ryan or anyone.

Is the ride height really 25mm body off on Dunford newest setup? I am assuming it gets measured under rear of chassis and just behind the kickup on the the front on flat part of chassis? I just about dont have any pre-load on springs to get it that low. Finishing final setup on Tyler's new 2.0 and was shocked how low this sits.

TIA!!!!

Hello guys!
I just wanted to post an update on a power issue I was having with my setup on my 4x4 sct ten 2.0. Some of you might remember I was losing throttle response on an orion vortex 160 amp pro and my 4300 HD pro motor. I actually turned off my low voltage cut off and since then I can say I no longer have throttle power issues. I have been running a 6 min alarm on my radio to protect my batteries. My truck is super fast and run flawless. I do have a question though and I hope someone can help. What temps are you guys getting on your 4300 hd pro motors? My ESC seems to run pretty cool but my motor gets super hot. Would any of you guys say its normal to get super hi temps on this motor? I'm running a stock spur and 14 tooth pinion with four pole software on my ESC. Thanks guys.

Usually ballpark nothing over 180 degrees max. Do you have a temp gun?

The ride height you read is correct and yes toe is also correct. Sounds weird but it works. I have always ran this truck with very low ride height. For some reason it drives better for me when its lower the higher. Other 2.0 drivers at my track would give me crap about how low my truck is and then they tried it and have kept it low now.

Should we be running a rear skid plate to try and save the chassis a little bit? Running the truck that low at the pretty large outdoor track I race at, might not be good. I have a feeling that its going to be bottoming out pretty hard.
Any thought.....

A big thank you to the Phend's for there help and parts at the NORTHERN INDIANA RC SUPER SERIES My son did not finish 2 of the 3 rounds of qualifying, the front and rear diff had a bad bearing which led to some other issues the Phends helped us out and we got him running for the main! He ended up 3rd.

Chase is a heck of a driver and good kid. I am glad he got to run the main with us. He's got a bright future ahead of him and I enjoy racing with him.

Need some advice looking for a indoor tire the works great on a clay hard packed surface. Would prefer some pre mounts. These will be going on my Losi SCTE Thanks

I really like the proline ion. They work great on a track like that.
