Where did the term "blue groove" come from? Man this stuff confuses me when there are terms that aren't very self-explanatory. I'm picturing a track that literally has grooves in it that are painted blue. lol.

I won't mention LCG or WOT acronyms..

Casper / Ryan,
I'm working on the new Dunford setup on Casper's website. Can you please expand on the #3 piston and the shocks. Can the pistons & shocks be found in these tlr items?

So, I've been wondering...the original SCTE setup used 4 hole pistons. Then a year or so ago the hot setup seemed to be 2 hole pistons. We were using 22 pistons or gluing up SCTE pistons to close up 2 holes. Now, with the 2.0, the latest preferred setup seems to be 4 hole pistons again. Can somebody help me understand why we have gone back and forth on this and what we have achieved (or are trying to achieve) by making the change?

So rc madness put sugar down for the first time for this weekends short course nationals. I'm guessing the track will turn blue groove now. I doubt what we've been running for tires will work, but could be wrong. Can anyone with experience on a hard packed natural dirt blue groove track speculate what tires might work? I'd like to see if my lhs has anything before I head out.

Something with a small or low profile pin. Handlebar, barcode, maybe even grid iron. And I would loosen up the rear a little stiffer spring and or roll bar or maybe even move the link down on the tower. Try them 1 at a time. High bite tracks are rough on these cars and tires.
