He was running that low pinion gear as they are still running 2 pole 550 in the orion camp and so they are gearing them low and adding timing for the high.

That is what Dakotah just used to win the Cactus with in this truck. It works well with 2 pole from the factory or if you use it with say a Tekin 4600 4 pole which is a great motor, you just need to update the software to the 4 pole software. Although my RX8 is super dialed.
