the 2.0 is better of course(LOL) and here is the info to compare...its just a link to the first page and all the info that he gave us and even more like the building tips and set-up sheets!

Buy what looks good to you and suits you...everyone has there own opinion

First page with all the new 2.0 specs and TLR link

+1 Both are great trucks, and you can tell which one i own by my signature. The best car in the world won't do you any good, unless you have the driving skill to back it up. I love my choice, but the scte is still a very fast race truck, (i know, i got spanked by several this weekend because the drivers had a lot more skill than i did). Read both threads and research them thoroughly, then make your decision.

+1, these seem to be the 2 SCTs to go for right now I chose the scte but I have nothing against the tekno, honestly after I build this 2.0 and whenever I decide to get another SCT I'll probably go w/ tekno, but who know's what will be out by the time I want another SCT

I just grabbed a new 2.0 kit, stepping into 4wd from my 22sct. I run on a small tight outdoor track with hard packed dirt that is dusty and loose on top. Just wondering what is a good place to start for diff oils and shock oils? Any info is appreciated.

I've been running the stock diff oils and the stock pistons and oils with success...I've also tried the 2 hole 55s like ryans mentioned and I'm not sure there any better...I've gone back to the stock and like it better. The biggest thing will be tires. Not sure what brand of tires you run but I would start with m4 holeshots or a longer lasting tire would be m4 blockade. Depending on temperature when hot go to m3 compound...hope this helps

Thanks, with my 22sct the calibers are the ticket so I will start with that. I usually start with box stock setup and tweak from there but being able to build it from scratch I am trying to get peoples opinions since I am new to the 4wd scene.

Specs on the servo plus it has 5 stars from everyone for reviews on AMAIN also
Torque: 12kg-cm / 167 oz-in @ 6V
Speed: 0.08 sec/60 degree @ 6V

Adding a SPM1600 cap helps a ton.
