I run all hobbywing in all my rc cars.I was just giving some heads up on the r10 pro didnt want to steer anyone in a bad direction.

I see in the scte 2.0 manual the steering tierod length is 98.5 mm what does this correlate to as far as the amount of toe out in the front?

what servo you guys suggest for the 2.0, I was thinking of going with the savox 1258tg for racing, I'm assuming high speed would be better then high torque for the 2.0

I'd recommend starting off with the 5/5/3 (F-M-R); just as Ryan pointed out in the setup sheet. Some guys like to run even lighter at SDRC but it really depends on you style of driving and location.

EDIT: 5/5/3 is what Ryan suggests!
is diff. oil or grease better

I've had the 1258TG in my truck for 2 years. Still works great, no issues even with the servo saver locked down. No issues.

Oh trust me. David is one fast kid. We built his 2.0 during the race between heats so as soon as he gets that cast off we will all be chasing him again. Kid is super fast in this class. It was nice to get the TLR sweep of the Podium!

The manual is wrong with that measurement. Just make sure the steering links are the same length when you put them on and make equal adjustments to set the toe to your liking.

Silicon Diff Oil for sure. I've been using the Savox 1258TG in my SCTE since day 1 but also with a cap. I'm not sure I need it TBH but I didn't want to take any chances. I'm going to try out my JR 9100S because it's brand new and is actually faster than the Savox (plus I want money out it; friggin $140 servo!). I've heard there's some relationship between the JR and Spektrum servos (S6040) so I'm hoping it will work out better. With the receiver box missing on the 2.0 I'm not favoring the cap and looking to see what I can do to remove it from the setup. I may even try the Savox w/o it, but with the JR being faster.....I gotta try that first. For me, steering response and rate has been challenging for me in the 1.0. I've tried most tuning recommendations so I'm going back to the recommended setup in the 2.0 and will tune from there.
