That's what I'm planning to do so I can use my old bodies while I get a new one painted. I wouldn't know what to do with the extra holes anyway!

It is not hard to pull the holes in the body with a dremel but yeah you don't HAVE to run the spacers but using those outside holes becomes kind of hard if you don't.

I have a question, I have a 1.0 with the all the tlr upgrades including chassis, plus many other hopups. I drove one of my buddy's MIP chassis trucks and love the feel. Im not really feeling like buying a new kit, so should I buy the MIP chassis kit or wait and use the 2.0 chassis and whatever else to make it work? Anyone have any ball park dollar amount on how much an ugrade on 1.0 is going to cost?

Kit comes with Diff fluid for the build. Obvisouly if you did not want to go with the kit setup you would need to get some.....

I just purchased all of the parts from HH to upgrade from the 1.0 to the 2.0 today and it cost me $285USD; this was including two more torque rods and not the carbon battery brace or the 7075 aluminum motor mount.

HTH!

Naw they don't make that much on kits anyway so I assume he is trying to put more trucks on His track and bring people there to buy the truck and other goods.A very smart plan IMO.
