Im good man, I'm running the 14 on mine, but im also running the MIP 39t spur, it feels good on most tracks, temps around 120-130 everytime. Solid little beast!!

Does anyone know where to get a good pre-cut chassis protector for the stock 2.0 chassis, I got a new chassis and want to protect it as much as I can, I seen them in the past listed on A-Main but just looked and didn't see them listed anymore.

i'm getting a scte 2.0 on friday. Going to run a viper vtx8 esc and tekin t8 2650 motor with 4s batteries. Anyone else running similar set ups and am i going to have diff issues?

I would say for sure get the aluminum rear bearing inserts, and shim the diff as well as the pinion as tight as you can without any binding front and rear. |
i wanted to run 4s cause i got like 6 packs and didn't want to buy more lipos. But with some research, think i will scale it back and invest in some 3s lipos. thanks.
how are those t8i motors, i've been thinking of getting the 2700kv t8i motor. is there a big difference between that and the t8 2650kv? |

yup i'll be bashing. my friend offered me a tekin hd 4300kv for 75 bucks, might just buy that. can i run 3s with that or just 2s? and what kind of speed will i get out of it?

Nope, still a 2.0. More continuous improvement. Moving to TiCN to match the other vehicles in the line, and just general over hall really. We took a look at the plastics we were using and metals and things have changed over the years so we are taking a step back to see what we can do to improve it. It is awesome and I have no complaints as is, but some have told me they thought the quality should improve, so I am getting this last chance to improve what I have done before this platform is passed on to the next rep.

Ryan, when are we likely to see the TiCN shock shafts and the other stuff thats coming for the truck? I have one I'm kind of holding out on rebuilding everything waiting on this stuff. Been having a nose dive issue for the longest time. Sporadic. Even sometimes down a long straight into a turn, it feels/looks like the truck is slamming on the brakes. I've tried everything to fix it. Rebuilt shocks, diffs, suspension pins... About everything. I even talked to the Tekin guys to make sure my ESC was setup right. Drag Brake is on zero. The truck used to be mint, now it's got this issue.
Today I found this (see picture). The "A" wire between the motor and ESC is partially broken, right next to the ESC. It's not hitting anything. Just partially broken. Could that cause things to short? I'm replacing, but wanted to get your opinions. |
