What pinion are you running with that combo, 12-13? Adding alot of timing in the ESC to make the power? I'm going to be switching mine to a R10.1 as well. What size track do you run on with this combo? Thanks

I found one of these NIB that I picked up,

Also I picked up one of these to try,

I don't really need more power, I want something that will be easier to drive. Didn't know Orion wasn't available yet.
Is it smoother on bottom? I run a HW 4700 currently.

My Fav to date is still the HW 4000 kv 3656 sd the most usable power in the Losi that I have found, never gets warm and You can gear it up if need. The T.P. 550 is also a good one.The trackstar motor that was posted earlier as I looked from my phone I stayed on the page for a while , listing to the radio and when I came back it had a message that said we noticed you have been viewing this for a while and would you like it at a discount or something like that went to $ .....$45

dude send me that link I'll order it.

I'm keeping my 4700, Im down for trying a 4000 but I heard great things about running a 550 2 pole, I won't have to have such a crazy trigger finger as much anymore.

Thanks Maddog, I'll be ordering the ThunderPower I guess this week, since Orion isn't available.

Thanks, I figured 12-13 would be ballpark. I'm going to try the 2 pole Orion Vst pro 550 4T first that I have, If its as smooth as people say I think I'll love it, The 4300HD I was running was just simply to much motor for me even turned down a bunch on small to medium tracks and way to much low end. The Orion Vst2 4 pole 550 4000KV I have I'm afraid after buying it will be very similar to the Tekin 4300HD I'm trying to replace, I impulse bought it
